Sam was born in Hong Kong, he is an industrial designer, currently based in London, UK.
After graduating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, majoring in BA in Product Design, he gained professional experience in two local design studios, Nozo Company Limited and Studio Ryte. He was involved in various projects, including furniture, architectural lighting, ceramic tableware, consumer technology, etc.
In 2021, he completed a 2-year MA in product design at ECAL university of art and design, Switzerland. In the following year,
he finished an internship in Industrial Facility in London, working for international brands and assisting the team on a variety of projects in the studio, ranging from making prototypes, illustrations, 3D modeling, and renderings for client presentations.
Through objective observation of human natural behaviors, he aims to design thoughtful, rational, and delightful products, which he believes are the essential qualities that good designs should possess.
